The rabbit did it.
No, really! There’s a rabbit sitting on the bar, and he did it! He made me order the bloody mary, and the delicious (they must have been fresh) squid, and the steak. yummm…. steak…
Although, to be fair, I’m not sure I’d recommend the steak. I think they got my order and my friend’s mixed up, so I ended up eating medium rare (urgh) and she medium. I hate it when places do that…
Food was very very good, service absolutely lovely, and… like I said… the rabbit did it. The wooden bar, floor, chairs, tables, walls, doors… and rabbit… everything is made in the loveliest warmest shade of brown wood you will ever see. Such a cozy place! Carpeted staircase with a slide-on-me-i-know-you-want-to banister. It doesn’t get smoother than that. Oh no wait, it does! There’s a chandelier lurking on the way to the bathrooms. And I didn’t have a chance to check out the private dining room on the upstairs floor! Something to do next time. Because, you guessed it, there will be a next time.
Oh. I don’t usually kiss and tell… but, in this case, it’d be unfair not to share: they take the tastecard. There. I said it. Go nuts.
